Our Roles

Hiring

DevOps Manager

This is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting to the CTO. You’ll design, build, and run our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and core IT operations (including device management). You’ll also help define IT business processes and uphold ISO 27001. The goal is to make building software fast and safe to ship, reliable for customers to use, and smooth for team members to get work done.

DevOps Manager Role
  • Own the DevOps strategy – Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and security-by-default practices that let engineering ship fast and services accessed safely.
  • Standardise how services are built, provisioned, administered, and managed – Provide clear ways of working for Infrastructure as Code, environment parity, passwords and secrets management, use of and integration with third-party SaaS and PaaS
  • Lead reliability and incident response – Define SLOs, implement actionable monitoring and alerting, run on-call and post-incident reviews, and drive systemic fixes to improve MTTR and availability.
  • Champion productivity of technical teams – Support the team in reducing build and test times, improving local development setups, and delivering self-service tooling and best practice ways of working for engineers and internal teams.
  • Manage IT processes and UEM/MDM – Support joiner/mover/leaver processes, access reviews, and asset lifecycle management; manage device compliance and endpoints, SaaS integrations, and SSO provisioning.
  • Secure and compliant operations – Manage & operate IdP/SSO and RBAC, manage vulnerabilities/patching, maintain hardening baselines, and own ISO 27001-aligned controls, evidence capture, and audits.
  • Stay current and apply what matters – Track industry trends in cloud, DevOps, security, and AI. Trial promising tools/practices in small pilots, measure impact, and adopt only what improves reliability, speed, security, or cost.
Role Requirements
  • You’ve been around the block
7+ years across software engineering and DevOps/Platform/SRE, and enjoy being hands-on. You’ve shipped, operated, and improved real systems.
  • You code, script, and automate
Comfortable writing code in at least two of C#/.NET, TypeScript/Node.js, and Python, plus scripting (Bash/PowerShell). You turn runbooks into scripts and scripts into scheduled jobs.
  • You have deep AWS knowledge and use it wisely
Strong design/operations experience on AWS, backed by an architecture certification (Associate or Professional). You’re pragmatic, cost-aware, and confident with integrating GCP when it’s more appropriate.
  • You know GitHub and ship through GitHub Actions
Reliable multi-stage pipelines (build, test, scan, release, deploy), fast feedback, and safe rollbacks.
  • You treat infrastructure as code
Good understanding and practical experience with Terraform, secrets management, environment provisioning, reproducible deployments, and reviewable changes.
  • You keep systems healthy and teams unblocked
Useful logs/metrics/traces, actionable alerts, sensible SLOs. Comfortable on-call, you conduct thorough post-incident reviews and turn fixes into lasting improvements.
  • Security and compliance aren’t afterthoughts
Google Workspace as IdP/SSO, least privilege/RBAC, patch/vuln management, and practical ISO 27001 control implementation with clean evidence.
  • You help staff do their best work
Mixed macOS/Windows fleet experience, clean joiner/mover/leaver flows, SSO-based provisioning, and clear self-service docs that actually help.
  • You’ve used AI where it counts
Real experience integrating LLMs/AI services from industry leaders for developer productivity or operations (e.g., CI insights, code analysis, incident triage, ops copilots) with attention to data privacy and cost.
  • You keep your knowledge fresh
You follow relevant communities, changelogs, and standards (AWS/GCP updates, CNCF, OWASP, ISO). You’re selectively curious and pragmatic, and you can generate ideas and follow through to make a measurable difference.
Nice to Have
  • Containers and orchestration (Docker, ECS/EKS), frontend build/release familiarity (Vite, React/Vue), and API gateway patterns.
  • Security tooling integration: SAST/DAST/SCA, dependency governance, SBOMs.
  • Experience with GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Maps, Vertex) and cross‑cloud identity/networking.
  • FinOps basics: tagging, budgets, and dashboards.
Working at Bowimi
  • 34 days holiday (incl. bank holidays) + 1 extra day for your birthday
  • Hybrid working – 3 days in our London Bridge / Bath office
  • Free private healthcare and a series of other perks, such as half-price gym membership through Vitality (see more here)
  • Regular socials & team activities
  • The opportunity to shape the future of our success
  • Work laptop & second screen

Head of Customer Success

We have a fantastic customer success team at Bowimi and they have played in a huge role in our success up until now (our Trustpilot reviews don’t lie!). However, as we move into a new, very exciting stage of expansion, we need to evolve from a customer support function into a modern, SaaS customer success team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to lead their own team and have genuine influence in the direction of a fast-growing business.

Why Bowimi

Because we put people first, and we’re serious about building something great.

Come build Bowimi with us.
